This special chorizo is made by the D’rouco family in North Carolina. They treasured the days when their old grandmother made chorizo following her mother’s recipe, which she brought from Galicia. They would like you to enjoy it too.

Following the family traditions of their home in A Coruna, the D’rouco family stuffs natural casings with ground gourmet pork, laced with red wine vinegar, fresh garlic, pimentón de la Vera - smoked paprika and sea salt. That’s it! No preservatives.

It is made of 100% all-natural dry-cured hormone-free pork from organic free-range animals.

D'rouco is a distinctive regional chorizo - one of our most popular. As is customary in northwest Spain, their chorizo is moist, tender and spicy, with a decided garlic flavor.

This dry-cured sausage is ready to serve, just slice it up and enjoy with crusty bread and a good cheese. We like to simmer these authentic chorizos in wine in a clay cazuela.
