  • Tio Pepe- A traditional fine sherry
  • Made in a family-owned bodega
  • A true taste of Andalucia!

Gonzalez Byass is one of the few bodegas remaining that are still in the hands of the original families. Why this matters is that they are traditionalists; having worked together for many generations. Their fino is a mark of their family.

Fortunately for us, they continue to make classic sherries such as Tio Pepe whether or not they are "cost effective".

Tio Pepe is a classic aperitif wine, which in Andalucía is also served with the meal. If you ever want to catch the essence of traditional Andalucía, a copa of Tio Pepe will transport you back to a finer time.

Classic Bone Dry Sherry with a Rating of 91.

"This is my favorite dry sherry."

"heady botanical aromas, lovely honey texture, nice crisp, tart taste. very dry, not at all sweet, but so very complex. I've never been a big fan of anything that wasn't a fat and inky red, but this sherry was pure heaven. I only had a sip, but enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope the price 'stays put' so we can look forward to reordering. add a couple of bottles to your order without hesitation, even if you are a fan of red."

"I am so happy to know you have a supply of my favorite sherry in the world - thank you!"

"A lovely dry sherry. I personally enjoy it cold, and served with appetizers (light ones). A nice mildly sharp cheese compliments the sherry quite nicely in my opinion. I was introduced to the brand by a friend who flew as a TWA flight attendant in the 1950s. She still cites this as her favorite brand, and we have only one store in upper state SC (in the USA) that sells the brand. It's worth the search and effort, due to the delightful taste that goes so smoothly with a number of foods. "
