Piparras are small semi-sweet peppers from the Basque Country of Spain. These slender yellow-green peppers are sometimes known as Guindillas la Vasca.

Packed in vinegar, they're a tangy, slightly sweet treat with just a mild hint of spice. They're reminiscent of the taste of banana peppers with a fuller, richer flavor.

Piparras are a wonderful accompaniment to Bonito tuna or smoked fish. They make a great tapas item with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Here at La Tienda, we're guilty of eating them straight out of the jar.

"I first received these as part of a "best sellers" package. We loved them so much we ordered more. They are just slightly spicy, not hot, crisp, fantastic little peppers to add to a tapas tray."

"I LOVE these peppers! Served with sliced jamon serrano, olives, cheese, white anchovies - and some crusty warm bread. Just received my order today and ordering the giant sized jar tonight. "
