Handmade by the widely acclaimed producer ‘1880,’ this confection is a mixture of Marcona almonds, egg yolks and sugar. Each bite of the silky treat is a delight: you may find yourself yearning for mornings at the seaside cafes of Valencia, with a slice of yema and a hot cup of coffee.

In the kitchens of 1880, ground Marcona almonds are mixed by hand with silky Spanish honey and rich egg yolks. The result is a soft nougat of the highest quality.

This confection is a wonderful sweet surprise at breakfast or brunch, especially with a rich cup of coffee. Sometimes, we bring it out with dessert, a treat that our friends who’ve visited Spain recognize immediately, and a surprising treat for those who haven't!

Ingredients

Almond, sugar, egg yolk (10.75%), glucose syrup, water, stabilizer (sorbitol), preserving agents (sorbic acid, potassium sorbate), aroma. Processed in a company that also uses tree nuts, milk and soy.
