The Ultimate Pimiento Stuffed Olives

Price: $14.95
2 Jars of Piquillo Pepper Stuffed Manzanilla Olives

Description

  • Delicious manzanilla olives from Sevilla
  • Stuffed with fresh pimiento de piquillo
  • Miles ahead of regular 'pimento' olives
  • Size - 2 x 4.2 oz/120 g drained weight

These are the ultimate pimiento stuffed olives, and a hands down favorite within the La Tienda community! The sweet and smoky flavor of the piquillo pepper lifts the olive to another level of flavor.

Because this is a premium product, the olives are stuffed with a whole piece of pimiento pepper. Each of these olives from Sevilla has an actual slice of fire roasted piquillo pepper harvested from the famous Lodosa region next to the vineyards of La Rioja in Northern Spain.

This is quite different from the hum drum pimento stuffed olives which have blanketed America for decades. In those, the producer grinds up scraps of peppers into a paste, and mechanically squirts some of the paste into the pitted olives.

Once you and your guests have tried these Piquillo stuffed olives, you will be spoiled! They will be the only ones which truly satisfy your palate.

------------

"My favorite olives. The flavor is "soft". "
  • Frank Wiley - Kent, OH
"My new favorite stuffed olives. Excellent right out of the jar or in a martini with a smooth and interesting vodka (e.g. Spirit Works)."
  • M Teresa de la Vega - Potsdam, NY
"LOVE these olives, eat them, cook with them, can't eat regular supermarket olives anymore. The texture is a little softer, flavor is more subtle, probably because less salty. Perfect olives."

  • Jeff Stephenson - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
    "Perfect dirty martini olives"
  • Lori - Boston, MA
"I think these are great but I am an olive lover. However, just served these at a dinner party and they were the stealth hit of the night. People were taking photos of the jar so they could go home and order them. These are what olives SHOULD taste like, not what is mostly avail in the US."
  • KAY mccrosky - NEW YORK, NY
    "unusual and delicious**"
  • Gwendolyn Phillips - MIDLAND, MI
"These olives are simply delicious! I put 5 or 6 in my vodka martinis. They are great in salads or served with cheese and meats for appetizers. Gwen Phillips"

"I have sampled all of La Tienda Olives and they are all incredibly good tasting olives. I'm hooked on Spanish olives!!!!"
  • John - Madisonville, TN
"First good olive I've ever had. I've tried several supermarket brands but could not stand the strong, bitter, salty taste. Then I took a chance and bought ybara. I couldn't believe it. Mild, great texture, not too salty. I will never buy another grocery store olive again, ever. "
  • Les Milne - Petaluma, California
  • Sharyn - Nashotah, Wisconsin
"I love these olives! I have been purchasing them for 4 years. They have a nice mellow flavor and are not as salty as most store bought olives."
  • P. Butler - Fancy Gap, Virginia
    "Best olives ever"
  • Jameelah - Brooklyn, New York
"First time I've had these olives, have had lots of the well-known store brand - tasted one and I'm a convert. Great olives, wish I had ordered more than two jars or that the jars were larger."
  • Keri Carlson
"I never knew this is what olives were supposed to taste like! If you are an olive fan you MUST try these. Absolutely delicious!! Only problem is the jar is too small and I eat them all at once - please sell a larger size :)"
  • Judy & John
"Once you eat these olives, you will never want any other. The only problem is...you can't eat just one. You eat half a jar at a time. Therefore, order plenty! They're awesome!"
  • Franchesca
"Good quality taste and texture, much better than the supermarket variety. Will buy them again. "
  • Angela
"Excellent olives. These do not taste anything like those pimento-stuffed olives that you can easily find at U.S. grocery stores. Those piquillo peppers have a very different and interesting flavor. I'm going to try more olive varieties of this brand name to see if the others are just as good."
  • Steve
"Wonderful. But I feel the quality has declined some over the past couple of years."
  • John Cartwright
    "Very good"
  • s. cook
"Ok, the olives were a bit soft--I prefer them with more "crunch""
  • Pauline
"We had these olives on a trip to Spain and loved them!"
  • Billie
"Absolutely the best olives I've had!! No comparison to other pimento stuffed olives. "
  • Mitch
"Had the most amazing olives served to me in a martini while in Seattle. I had to know what they were. When I got home I tracked the brand down. Impossible to find locally, but grateful to know that they are available via the net! These are unlike any green olive you've ever tasted. You'll never look at a jar of "pimento" stuffed olives on the grocery store shelves the same way again!!!"
  • Elizabeth
"I am so pleased to finally find some olives that taste like the ones I remember in Spain (and loved). I've been missing them for a long time."
