Chorizo Gaucho, also known as chorizo mixto, is a classic grilling sausage from Argentina. Chopped pork and beef are mixed with red wine, garlic and sea salt to make an incredible chorizo just like they enjoy on the pampas.
Our sausage maker followed a family recipe from the Province of Cordoba in Argentina. He decided to chop whole cuts of humanely raised pork and beef, with no scraps, to make the finest Argentinean chorizo available here in the U.S. Merlot wine, fresh garlic and other spices add the unique flavor of southern Argentina. Grill and serve with grilled vegetables, fresh bread and a good bottle of wine.
No nitrates or nitrites, preservatives or artificial colors were used to make these chorizos. You will receive two packages, each with 3 to 4 chorizo Gaucho sausages. Keep frozen until you are ready to use, and thaw in the refrigerator.
